American Biotec

History

In 2006, Engineer Marco Michel joined the newly created AMERICAN BIOTEC with the main objective of developing a complete line of Biopesticides of microbiological origin.

It is worth mentioning that until that moment (2006) Mr. Michel already had a background of more than 10 years of experience working in agro-export companies and universities at a national and international level, in addition to standing out as a teacher in the area of Biological Control.

Already in AMERICAN BIOTEC and thanks to hard work and exclusive dedication to the project; the production lines of beneficial mushrooms were growing and gaining ground in the national and international market, and from the year 2010 exports to the international market began, the same year that the formulation of beneficial bacteria began.

Later, in 2018, the formulation of microorganisms for bioremediation began, among which are mycorrhizae and phosphorus and nitrogen solubilizing bacteria, among others.

In 2020, the formulation of products for bioremediation, probiotics and symbiotics in the aquaculture area began.

AMERICAN BIOTEC currently has more than 20 permanent employees, having started with only 2 (Eng. Michel and an assistant), with clients in demanding markets such as the USA, Central America and the Caribbean, Europe and Brazil.

AMERICAN BIOTEC has biopesticide production lines for agriculture, livestock and aquaculture.
